Meet V-Tach™: Our Signature Espresso Blend

V-Tach combines Brazilian, Kenyan and Guatemalan Arabica coffee with notes of dark chocolate, caramelized sugar, roasted nuts and cocoa. It's a satisfying choice when you want a rich espresso with a smooth finish, whether you're pulling a morning shot or making an afternoon iced latte.

The name comes from founder Mike Adams' years as a firefighter and MedEvac Flight Paramedic. This is coffee with a connection to the people who work long shifts, answer emergency calls and care for their communities.

Choose Your Espresso Coffee

  • Whole bean espresso: Grind just before brewing and adjust the grind to your espresso machine. Start with a 12 oz whole bean bag.
  • Ground espresso roast coffee: Enjoy V-Tach's bold flavor in your drip brewer. The ground option is listed as medium grind; choose whole bean for control over an espresso grind.
  • Bulk espresso beans: Keep a busy coffee bar stocked with a 5 lb whole bean bag. A 5 lb ground option is also available.

What makes good coffee beans for espresso?

Look for a flavor profile you enjoy, freshly roasted coffee and a grind suited to your equipment. If you favor chocolate and caramel notes or regularly make lattes, V-Tach's full body and cocoa finish give you a useful starting point. Whole beans let you adjust the grind as you dial in your shots.

Are espresso beans different from coffee beans?

Espresso describes a brewing method, rather than a separate species of coffee bean. An espresso blend is selected and roasted with that concentrated brewing style in mind. You can also brew V-Tach as drip coffee by using the appropriate grind and recipe for your coffee maker.

Do you have espresso K-Cups?
