Flavor, brewing & the story behind this coffee

What Does Half Caff Mean?

Half caff coffee combines regular and decaffeinated beans to reduce the caffeine in your cup. Our Brazilian blend delivers approximately half the caffeine of regular coffee. The amount in a serving also depends on how much coffee you use and how you brew it.

We roast in small batches in Pennsylvania, bringing together regular and Swiss Water® Process decaf coffee in a blend you can brew with your everyday equipment.

Is Half Caff the Same as Decaf?

No. Half caff includes regular coffee and still contains caffeine. If you prefer decaffeinated coffee, explore our Swiss Water® decaf coffee collection.

This half calf coffee is our favorite. It’s perfect in the morning and before a meeting. We order from hundreds of miles away and that says it all.

We have enjoyed Firehouse Coffee for several years. In the past we purchased multiple pounds of caffinated and multiple pounds of decaffeinated and mixed it ourselves. Now we purchase the premixed half caffeine and we love it.
