The name ICU™ came from my years working as a paramedic and transporting critically ill and injured patients to the hospital. After the emergency department, operating room, or a long transport, some of those patients ultimately ended up in the Intensive Care Unit — the ICU.

After dropping off enough patients there over the years, ICU took on another meaning at Firehouse Coffee:

We created ICU™ as a tribute to the nurses, doctors and healthcare professionals working behind those ICU doors—the people taking care of some of the sickest patients in the hospital long after EMS has transferred care and headed back out for the next call.

ICU™ combines premium 100% Arabica coffee with the smooth flavor of Irish cream, creamy vanilla and the warm character associated with Irish cream liqueur. The result is a rich, aromatic Irish Cream Flavored Coffee that's creamy and satisfying without covering up the flavor of the coffee underneath.

We carefully roast our Arabica coffee beans before adding the Irish cream flavor, producing a smooth cup you can enjoy black or with your favorite cream or sweetener.
