I never planned on creating a blueberry coffee.

My friend Scott stopped by the roastery one day and told me about a blueberry coffee he enjoyed. He kept encouraging me to create one for Firehouse Coffee. I wasn’t convinced—blueberry can be difficult to get right, and I had no interest in making just another forgettable flavored coffee.

So I started experimenting.

After testing different coffee bases and adjusting the flavors through batch after batch, everything finally came together. Blueberry Explosion™ combines juicy blueberry with smooth vanilla cream, creating a bright, fruit-forward coffee with a creamy, balanced finish.

The blue warning light featured in the artwork has a story too. Volunteer firefighters often place blue lights on their personal vehicles when responding to emergency calls. It honors that tradition while fitting the vibrant blueberry character of the coffee Scott challenged me to create.
