Hydrant Hazelnut™ is our Firehouse Coffee take on a classic Hazelnut Flavored Coffee. It combines the warm, nutty taste of roasted hazelnuts with buttery sweetness and a smooth, creamy finish.
We begin with premium 100% Arabica coffee beans, freshly roasted in small batches in Maxatawny, Pennsylvania. After roasting, the beans are flavored with rich hazelnut to create a smooth and aromatic cup that complements the coffee without overpowering it.
It’s an easy-drinking flavored coffee that’s perfect for mornings, long shifts or those afternoons when another cup sounds like a pretty good idea.
The Story Behind Hydrant Hazelnut™
The inspiration comes directly from my days in the fire service.
During the summer, we would spend long, hot days driving around town flushing fire hydrants. It was dirty, wet work—especially under the summer sun—but it was also one of those jobs that connected our station with the community.
When we opened a hydrant, neighborhood kids would sometimes come running over to splash and play in the water. What was routine work for us could quickly become the highlight of a summer afternoon for them.
Fire hydrants are one of the most recognizable symbols of the fire service. When we created our classic Hazelnut Flavored Coffee, Hydrant Hazelnut™ was the perfect name.
Enjoy it hot, iced, black or with a splash of cream. Adding cream brings out even more of its buttery hazelnut character and creates a smooth, coffeehouse-style cup.
