Eventually, that syrup finds the bacon—and everybody knows that’s the piece you eat first. That sweet and smoky combination inspired Backdraft®.
We begin with premium 100% Arabica coffee beans, freshly roasted in small batches in Maxatawny, Pennsylvania. After roasting, we add maple syrup and smoky bacon flavors to create a distinctive breakfast-inspired coffee.
The sweet maple flavor arrives first, followed by the savory, smoky character of bacon. Together, they create a smooth and aromatic coffee that’s familiar, unexpected and completely different from an ordinary cup.
The Story Behind Backdraft®
The name Backdraft® comes directly from the fire service. A backdraft can occur when fresh oxygen suddenly enters a superheated, oxygen-depleted space, creating an explosive reaction.
Our version is considerably safer—but the combination of maple syrup and smoky bacon still delivers an explosion of flavor.
